The Red Stone restaurant & cafeteria is a open air estab- lishment with a cozy dining area covered with appropriate netting and surrounded with a short stone wall. For cold weather we also have an inside restaurant. The Red Stone restaurant & cafeteria in Maltahöhe offers 2 daily menues, lunches, light lunches, snacks, delicious ice creams and drinks to customers who would like to stop by on their way into or out of the Namib Desert.

The Daweb Cultural Group, about 25 children will entertain you for a very special hour of skilled dancing and singing, imaginative choreography and colorful costumes. The children will be proud to share their traditional culture with you, a unique experience indeed. (This must be prebooked at OAHARA centre for a fee)

OAHERA Centre also offers you the opportunity to enjoy a donkey cart ride through Maltahohe (if available), your guide will take you past schools, churches, cemeteries and the 'Maltahöhe shuttle' will bring you a new and very interesting insight into the Nama community of Maltahöhe. On Sundays we can also bring by donkey cart to church services held in throughout Maltahöhe.

As you visit Oahera centre you can also enjoy our unique plant walk, through a pleasant and interesting circuit you can observe and discover more than 60 plants characteristic of Namibia,

Southern Africa as well as some attractive species of cactuses.
