| Kaokoland
Namibia's West and North West 15 days / 14 nights |
|
The vast wildernis of Kaokoland is the home of the Ovahimba who still live in their traditional ways. On our way to the north western border river Kunene you will come to know the wide open horizon of Ovamboland which is ornated by the typical silhouette of the Makalani palm tree. With a little luck we will be able to watch desert elephants at the dry Hoanib river or even the endangered rhinoceros which have found a specially protected habitat in this rough and deserted landscape. If you don't fear a little dust and rough gravel roads, you will be rewarded with breath-taking encounters with Namibia's people and wildlife. |
