Hunting Holidays

The Roidina Safari Farm with its diverse biotops and many dry rivers and the bizarre mountain range is ideal for hunters. Indigenous game like Kudu, Oryx, Warthog, Steenbok, Duiker, Dik-Dik, Ostrich, Jackal, Baboon, Cheetah and Leopard are plentiful. Other species on request: Blesbok, Blue- and Black Wildebeest, Zebra, Eland, Hartebeest, Klippspringer, Desert Springbok and Impala can be hunted on neighbouring hunting farms.

Big game hunting in Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe can be offered, customised to your requirements, if trophy quotas are available.

General

Your chosen Holiday Paradise is situated 190 km 340° from Windhoek. With our Roidina-Cessna you reach us in 50 minutes, per car in 3 hours. The Farm measures 5100 ha and has a bizarre Mountain range and 3 Rivers in diverse surroundings and plenty of game, an absolute must for the nature lover.

Five thatched bungalows, en-suite and a lapa with cosy bar are arranged around the pool area which is surrounded by lots of different cacti, succulents and solitaires under shade giving umbrella-acacias.

An oasis for leisure and relaxation. The illuminated waterhole in front of the lapa enables you to view game during the night. 1600 m above sea level, a rustic mountain hut with breathtaking view can be visited for small adventures.

Photo-Safaris and Hiking

Photo-Safaris and hiking in scenic nature on over 50 kmē, approximately 40 km Game-Drive and Hiking Trail and three dry Rivers with a combined length of ca. 25 km are there for your pleasure. The mountain can be reached on various hiking trails to a hight of 1650 meters above sea level. The many bird- and plant species, plenty of trees along the rivers and on the mountain, game at the four dams or the six waterholes with observation posts offer interesting motives and unforgettable memories.

Safaris by Aeroplane or 4x4

Day trips or longer safaris by aeroplane or 4x4 are possible direct from the centrally situated Roidina Safari Farm.

Trips or safaris to the famous Desert Elephants in the Huab River, Etosha National Park, Waterberg Plateau or the Epupa Waterfalls at the Kunene, a visit to the Tsumeb Mine Museum, Fishing at the Atlantic Coast, a visit to the possibly world's biggest Seal Colony at Cape Cross, shopping in Swakopmund or a trip south to the highest Sand Dunes in the world at Sossusvlei, etc.

For Pilots

Aeroplanes for pilots who like to make the above mentioned or similar safaris by themselves or with a safety pilot from Roidina, can bearranged according to their licence.
