In the shade of Makalani palm trees, are ten comfortable furnished tents, each with own shower/toilette.
Omarunga guests can enjoy a cold drink at the bar, next to the Kunene river. Meals are served in the 'open' restaurant.
The Epupa falls form a spectectular backdrop while enjoying a sundowner. Himba tours, with a guide from Omarunga Camp, are offered. The guide will explain the age old tradition of the Himba people.
CAMPING Omarunga Camp also offers eight camping sites with ablution blocks (hot water) next to the river. Swimming in the river is not allowed - crocodiles! Campers can also enjoy meals in our restaurant, but must please book in advance.
