Okajo Safari Lodge is situated approximately 160 kilometres north-west of
Windhoek on the banks of the Khan Rivier. Thanks to the riverside forest,
a large diversity of fauna and flora abounds.
An area comprising 8500 hectares (90 square kilometres) of tree and bush
savannah is available for hunting purposes.
We offer hunters and guests five cosy, well-appointed rooms with
bathroom/WC and 220V power connection. The heated indoor pool and sauna
invite you to relax and de-stress - in other words, enjoy a perfect
getaway and a blissful rest!

HUNT INFORMATION:
Individual care and professional guidance in accordance with principles
of good huntsmanship will be provided by your experienced hunting guide.
Hunting season: 1st of February to 30th of November.
We recommend a minimum stay of 5 days.
Climate & clothing:
February to April: Very warm, good prospects of rains.
Winter months, May to August: It gets cold, even freezing, at night,
while temperatures are pleasantly warm in the daytime.
September to November: Warm to hot, rainfalls are somewhat rare.
Insurance:
We recommend that you take out adequate policies prior to your
departure, i.e. hunting abroad / medical aid / luggage / travel
cancellation insurance.
Firearms:
We recommend the use of a 30 06 rifle, or heavier.
Telescopic sight with 4-6 fold scope of enlargement is ideal for local conditions.
