Situated on the eastern bank of the Okavango, this campsite offers the best view to the rapids. N//goabaca is also known for the abundance and variety of birdlife in the flood plains. Go for walks along the river and experience its unique flora and fauna for yourself! N//goabaca consists of four individual, secluded campsites (for 2 to 3 tents each; one larger site is suitable for 4 to 6 tents). There is a bed of sand for each tent, surrounded by grass and lush riverine vegetation. Large old trees provide shade. Two sites have private wooden decks overlooking the river and the Popa rapids. Each site is equipped with running water, a hot shower, a flush-toilet, a fire place and a thatched open kitchen. Prices Camping - N$60.00 per person per Night Fire wood - N$10.00 per bundle Location On the east bank of the Okavango River, next to Popa Falls (rapids), about 4 km from the police check point at the Okavango bridge. How to get there Travelling on the B8 main road from Katima Mulilo you cross the Okavango bridge at Divundu and continue on the track on the right hand side of the rehabilitation farm. The regular access road to N//goabaca is currently being upgraded. If approaching from Rundu, look out for the sign 'Campsite' on your left, which indicates a turn-off to the right. Follow the track along the fence of the rehabilitation farm for about 4 km. The track is suitable for any vehicle, but caution may be required in the wet season.
