| LOCATION: | 1 km from Khowarib Village
in the Khowarib Schlucht (gorge). Approx. 25 km south of
the regional town of Sesfontein.
From the main Palmwag - Sesfontein road (D3706 gravel), when in Khowarib village, turn to the east up the Khowarib Schlucht. Follow the track for approx. 2-3 km and you will find the campsite on your left hand side. Access is by 2x4 vehicle. The campsite on the other side of the river-bed is accessed by 4x4 vehicle only. |

Campsite * Several camping sites with braai area * Toilet and bush shower (cold water) * 1 private site (no facilities) on other side of the river under large palm tree (access is by 4x4) * Lapa and bar overlooking the Schlucht - - Note : This campsite would suit the visitor who is looking for minimal facilities. - - |
