| LOCATION: | At Okombahe just off the
Okombahe-Usakos road (D2306 gravel).
Coming from the north, as you enter Okombahe, the D2306 heads to the left and then crosses the dry Omaruru river bed. Before crossing the river bed there is a turn to your left. Follow this for about 500 metres and you will see a large vegetable garden on your right hand side. The campsite is next to the garden on the right hand side. |

Campsite * Several camping sites with braai area and grass * Toilets and shower * Traditional Damara hut (can accommodate up to 4 people - visitors must bring own equipment) * Alternative accommodation is available in fibreglass domes (can accommodate up to 10 people) * Large shade trees (Note: This campsite would suit the visitor who is looking for minimum facilities and is willing to experience the community as it comes.) |
