A C C O M M O D A T I O N: Popa Falls:
At Popa Falls the Okavango River passes the last rapids before it enters Botswana and the Okavango Delta.
Open throughout the year. The resort gates are open from sunrise to sunset. Not more than 4 persons allowed per hut. Kiosk, fire wood and water available. Angling only with permit, available at the resort office at N$ 2-00. No pets, no motor cycles.
Mahango Game Reserve: Mahango,
which is situated 950 km from Windhoek and 250 km from Rundu,
is open to day visitors only. Park fees for day visitors are
applicable. Accommodation is available at the nearby Popa
Falls Resort.
A C C O M M O D A T I O N: Khaudum and Sikereti:
Open throughout the year, from sunrise to sunset. Only four-wheel-drive vehicles allowed; a minimum of two vehicles per group. Visitors have to cater for themselves and must provide their own bedding, equipment, food and water for at least 3 days. No kiosk and no fuel available; closest fuel station at Tsumkwe, Bagani, Mukwe or Rundu. No caravans or trailers. No pets, no motor cycles.
