Overnight visitors with reserved accommodation may enter up to midnight, once booked in during office hours. Day visitors have to arrange a visit in advance with the camp management at Tel. (061) 226806, Fax (061) 232393, and must leave before 18:00. Restaurant guests may leave later.

Meal times: 07:30 - 08:30, 12:00 - 13:30, 19:00 - 20:30

Large groups must book restaurant meals at least 24 hours in advance.

No pets allowed. Kennels are available at the gate, pet owners must care for their pets. Motorcycles or scooters not allowed. Angling possible, depending on dam level, permits at the park office.


Daan Viljoen Hiking Trail:
The unguided walking trail of 32 km is open to groups of 3 to 12 persons. The trail is undertaken at the hikers' own risk. Groups commmence at 09:00 each day at the park office and finish the trail in one or two days. Own food and water must be provided. Reservations for the trail must be done well in advance through the Central Reservations Office in Windhoek.
