NAMIBIA WILDLIFE RESORTS Ltd.

LÜDERITZ SHARK ISLAND RESORT

Lüderitz, originally known as Angra Pequena, was founded by the German merchant Adolf Lüderitz in 1883 as a trading base. Later, from 1908 onwards, Lüderitz was the scene of the diamond rush. Kolmanskop, a ghost town, is one of the remains of this area. The resort is situated on Shark Peninsula, with an excellent view over the bay, town, and harbour. It is close to town where the usual shops and services are available.
