TROPHY HUNTING
______________________________________
"Track down your game on foot" -
Fair Chase - no hunting from the car.
Farm Killarney is where we live, situated 420km north of Windhoek
International Airport, just 120km south of Etosha National Park,
where we can go for a visit on a Sunday. The farm offers hides
in the plain to hunt Kudu, Oryx, Steenbuck, Damara Dik Dik,
Klippspringer and Duiker and Warthog but also we can go and
stalk the antelopes and mountain zebras either in the plains
or in the wild and romantic mountains of Killarney. The farm
consists of 7100ha, 1/3 in the plain and 2/3 in the mountains,
no cattle farming, no fences. Leopards are home on Killarney.
A concession in the Kalahari, 370km east from Windhoek Int. AP,
is offering all other species of antelopes such as Blue and Black
Wildebeest, Hartebeest, Springbuck, Impala and Blessbuck.
In the Khomas Hochland, just 160km south of Windhoek (in the vicinity
of Kuiseb Canyon) the serious hunter has got the chance to exercise
all his abilities in the quest for Springbuck, Oryx and mountain
zebra. This requires long range shooting experience.
Bow hunters welcome.
