Situated 30 km from the International Airport Hosea Kutako. This is the place where
you can commence your journey into the wonderland of Namibia or where you can

Once the farm Hohewarte served as a police- and post station for the German
'Schutztruppe'. The farm stretches over native African thorn bush savanna, an area
of approx. 10 000 hectares right at the foothills of the 2300m high Mount Bismarck.
Here alongside cattle farming and our multifarious flora and fauna we invite you to this
natural beauty to explore and enjoy yourself amidst nature.
We do offer you the peacefulness of a small guest house where you can relax at the
refreshing swimming pool, enjoy game and sun downer drives amongst nature
scenery. Walking trails, horse riding as well as 4 x 4 trails
are being offered for activities during the day. Historic places are interesting aims
for exploration. Bird- and game watching takes you away from day-to-day routine
and a refreshing drink during sundown recreates heart and soul.
Four double rooms with en suit facilities and one family unit, all tastefully furnished are
spacious and comfortable. Hohewarte Guest Farm offers you a high-quality service
and every amenity you could possible wish for. You will be spoilt with traditional
South African cuisine and a variety of South African wines.
For car owners from inside or outside Namibia we do offer garages to lease
for short- or long term duration. Transfers from and to the airport as well as to
our capitol Windhoek can be arranged.
