This is how you can find us

The flight from Europe is about 9 000 km. A non-stop flight takes about 9 ½ hours. The international airport (there is only one) lies near Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. From there it takes about another four hours by car to Swakopmund.

It is possible to fly by small craft to Swakopmund or Walvis Bay.

We are geared to pick you up from any of the mentioned airports if so requested, or we can arrange for a private plane for you. (Tariffs on request.)

We shall gladly reserve a hired vehicle for you if you so prefer and it will be ready and waiting for you at any of the mentioned airports.(Tariffs on request.)

To guide you more easily to Swakopmund and Richthofen manor house we display a small map.

You take the route from the Windhoek airport, which is situated some 40 km to the east of Windhoek, to that city and from there you follow the road signs to Okahandja and Swakopmund. From Windhoek to Okahandja the distance is 70 km. From there you carry on towards Karibib, about 110 km. From there to Usakos it is about 30 km and then the last 145 km through the unique Namib desert on the fringe of which lies Richthofen manor. 10 km before you reach Swakopmund you turn left onto the D 1901 and follow that for another 8 km on a well-made gravel surface where you will find Richthofen manor on the right side of the road. We are looking forward to your visit.

Its situation on the fringe of the famous "moon landscape" makes it an ideal place to relax and unwind.
